In conjunction with the GaN Semi Conductor this allows for a lower impedance and extremely fast charge times,
with 0-100% charge being achieved in just 2 hours.
With this combination of internal technology, we can achieve a 2kWh unit that is compact and weighs less than 17kg!

SEMI-SOLID BATTERY x GaN SEMICONDUCTOR
A semi-solid battery is one in which some or all of the electrolyte inside is solid.
The semi-solid battery that IDX has adopted this time is called a “liquid-added (impregnated) semi-solid battery,” and uses a composite electrolyte in which a small amount of liquid electrolyte is impregnated into a solid electrolyte.
This achieves both high safety and ionic conductivity. In addition, the impedance inside a semi-solid battery is 1/10 of that of conventional batteries, and the internal ions can move between spaces with fewer barriers (impedance), so no extra energy is needed, and the amount of heat generated is significantly reduced.
Furthermore, the
inverter used inside the product uses GaN semiconductors. Compared to silicon semiconductors, it is more efficient and faster, and the power conversion efficiency is improved, which leads to smaller and lighter products.

ABSOLUTE SAFETY
- The cells used in the SSP-2000 have passed the nail insertion test (internal short circuit test)
- The electrolyte used inside is non-flammable and flame-retardant, so it will not generate heat or catch fire even if it is subjected to external impact, overcharging, or an internal short circuit.

- The combination of semi-solid battery and GaN semiconductor reduces heat compared to conventional products, slows down cell deterioration, and achieves a longer lifespan
